Opening event with Prof Dr Gerhard Wagner (HU Berlin)
Law by Algorithm: Digital Law Enforcement' on 10 May 2022
The Institute for the Law of Digitalisation invites you to the newly established lecture series on the Law of Digitalisation at the Faculty of Law of the Philipps University of Marburg.
The lecture series is intended as a forum for academic exchange, in particular to accompany the newly established focus area on the Law of Digitalisation. At the same time, it is intended to provide not only our students, but also the faculty, colleagues and all other interested parties with current insights into the academic debates and questions surrounding the topic of digitalisation, ranging from private and public law to criminal law, ethics and legal theory.
The launch event will take place on 10 May 2022 at 18:00 ct via Zoom. You can find your dial-in link here.
Prof. Dr. Wagner, LL.M (University of Chicago), Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, will give an insight into the topic 'Law by Algorithm: Digital Law Enforcement' and his book (co-authored with Prof. Dr. Horst Eidenmüller).
Further lectures in the series are expected to take place once or twice per semester, either in person or digitally, depending on the situation and possibilities. You are therefore invited to subscribe to an e-mail distribution list at post@irdi.institute to receive up-to-date information on all further events in the series.
We look forward to welcoming you to our virtual inaugural lecture.
